Dhaka, May 22 -- The High Court on Wednesday expressed its disappointment over the attitude of Green Line Paribahan to pay compensation to Russel Sarkar, who lost his leg in an accident in the city's Dholaipar on April 28 last year involving a bus of the company.

"We've talked in a very flexible manner. The Green Line authorities neither told us that they have problems and they can't pay the fine nor they contacted Russel's family to settle the matter. The attitude of Green Line didn't seem good to us," it said.

The HC bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahasan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader came up with the observations while hearing the progress of paying compensation to Russel.
