Dhaka, May 20 -- The interim government has taken several measures to resolve the issue of pending wages and service benefits of workers at the TNZ Group's garment factory, including clearing the dues by the next seven working days.
The authorities have decided to sell TNZ Group's washing plant and the owner's residence at DOHS in Dhaka's Mohakhali to clear the workers' dues, said the Chief Adviser's press wing on Tuesday night, referring to the initiatives taken by the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
As part of the series of measures, the government will try to bring back the TNZ Group owner home, who is currently abroad, by issuing a red alert through Interpol.
