, March 16 -- The central committee, formed by the Home Ministry, on recommending the withdrawal of politically motivated and harassing cases, has so far suggested lifting 6,202 cases.
Headed by Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Professor Asif Nazrul, the committee has held eight meetings to assess the cases and determine their merit for withdrawal, said a media release of the ministry issued on Sunday.
