Dhaka, July 1 -- The government on Tuesday approved a proposal in principle not to implement the 'Rectification and Upgradation of CETP and Establishment of SWM at BSCIC Tannery Industrial Estate, Dhaka' project under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The approval came from the 19th meeting of the Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs held at the Bangladesh Secretariat with Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed in the chair.
