Dhaka, March 2 -- Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen on Saturday reaffirmed Bangladesh's dedication to raising international awareness and seeking recognition for the 1971 genocide.

He urged all stakeholders, including think-tanks, academia, civil society, researchers, and the diaspora, to join hands in the collective pursuit of international recognition for the events of 1971.

Such collaborative efforts, Masud said, would honor the memory of the victims and deliver justice to their families.

The Foreign Secretary said this while addressing as the chief guest in the closing ceremony of the 9th Winter School 2024, hosted by the Center for the Study of Genocide and Justice (CSGJ) of the Liberation War Museum.
