, Dec. 30 -- The government has announced a three-day state mourning and general holiday on Wednesday following the death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus announced the decision in a televised address to the nation on Tuesday.
