, Feb. 5 -- Fuel strike in Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions enforced by the Bangladesh Petroleum, Dealers, Distributors, Agents and Petrol Pump Owners' Association has been withdrawn after a fruitful meeting with the adviser to the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry.
The decision was taken on Wednesday afternoon following a meeting with the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Adviser, said the association's Rajshahi Division unit.
The association called an indefinite strike in Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions from Wednesday morning, protesting a drive that evicted an establishment of a leader of the association.
Selling of fuel in the two divisions remained suspended till 4 pm.
