Khulna, March 25 -- In a significant milestone for Mongla Port, four foreign commercial ships have docked at the port's jetty simultaneously.

According to a media release, the vessels anchored at different jetties on Monday afternoon.

The Panama-flagged MV Jupiter berthed at Jetty No. 5, carrying 4,083 metric tonnes of machinery goods, while the South Korea-flagged MV Marigold docked at Jetty No. 6 with 5,000 metric tonnes of molasses. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong-flagged MV Han Hui took position at Jetty No. 7, loaded with 1,970.41 metric tonnes of steel pipes, and the Barbados-flagged MV Anka Blue anchored at Jetty No. 8, carrying 1,769.07 metric tonnes of machinery cargo.

In total, these four vessels are carrying 12,822.48 metric tonnes...
