Dhaka, March 23 -- Former national cricketer and match referee Salim Shaheed has been elected as the convener of the 13-member ad-hoc committee of the Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) on Sunday (March 23).
He replaced former national captain, BCB director and parliament member Naimur Rahman Durjoy, who resigned from BCB and went underground after the collapse of Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League Government.
