, Feb. 5 -- A Narayanganj court on Wednesday placed the former Law Minister Anisul Huq on a three-day remand in a murder case.

Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Nur Mohsin passed the order, said Court Police inspector Kaiyum Khan.

Police produced him before the court with 5-day remand prayer.

Ashik Mia, a worker was shot to death during the student movement on August 5. Kulsum Begum, Ashik's mother, filed a case with Sonargaon Police Station against 112 identified people including Anisul, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Obaidul Quader, and 300 unidentified people.
