Dhaka, Feb. 21 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday organized a programme to commemorate the Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day 2025 paying deepest respect to all the heroic language martyrs and the language movement veterans.

The event featured a Provat Feri, a discussion session, a cultural programme, and a display of children's art.

Diplomatic Missions, Representatives of UN agencies, and international organizations in Dhaka participated in the programme at Foreign Service Academy.

Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin said that 'Amar Ekushe February' (Immortal 21) is a historic and significant milestone in national history.
