Gazipur, April 3 -- A bogie of the Mohua Express commuter train caught fire in Sreepur, Gazipur, on Thursday morning, disrupting rail communication on the Dhaka-Mymensingh route.

The train, bound for Mohonganj in Netrakona, departed from Dhaka's Kamalapur Railway Station in the morning.

Around 10:30 am, the fire broke out in the last compartment near Satmakhair Railway Station in Sreepur upazila, according to a passenger.

In response, the train was halted, and the affected bogie was detached to prevent the fire from spreading further.
