Feni, Sept. 24 -- A Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader of Feni Government College has been suspended from the party after being sentenced, along with three others, for taking drug in Feni Sadar upazila.

The convicts are Jahid Hossain Sagor, joint convenor of the college unit JCD, Abdul Mannan, 35, of Nabinagar upazila in Brahmanbaria, Md Shobuj Mia, 32, of Nagar Kanda upazila in Faridpur, and Bashir Hawladar, 30, of Amtali upazila in Barishal.

On Tuesday evening, the district administration conducted a mobile court with support from the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) near Madrasa Road, adjacent to Lalpol Bede Palli in Sadar upazila.
