, Sept. 11 -- In a powerful call for inclusivity, experts at the Women and Energy Carnival 2025 emphasised the urgent need to recognise women not merely as participants, but as key stakeholders in shaping the future of the energy sector.
The event, organised by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) under its Women's Empowerment and Energy (WEE) Project, was held on Thursday at the Liberation War Museum in the capital's Agargaon area, said a press release.
Bringing together policy influencers, innovators, development partners, youth leaders, and grassroots women, the carnival celebrated and highlighted women's leadership in Bangladesh's renewable energy sector.
