Dhaka, Dec. 4 -- Speakers at a dialogue in Dhaka have highlighted the importance of ensuring sustained, inclusive and accountable approaches to security sector reform in Bangladesh.

They reaffirmed that effective police reform, democratic oversight, constructive media engagement and the integration of gender and human rights are essential pillars for building a transparent, accountable and people-centered security sector.
