Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Police have arrested a former Member of Parliament from Tangail-5 constituency Md. Sanowar Hossain and two Awami League leaders in a case filed over an attack during the July-August movement in the capital's Bhatara.
The other arrestees are Md. Abu Musa Ansari,56, vice-president of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila unit Awami League, and Md. Salauddin Salek, also known as Salek Dhali,58, vice-president of Ward No. 40 of Bhatara thana AL.
DC media of DMP Talebur Rahman said they were arrested in a special operation conducted by Bhatara police on Saturday and Sunday.
