, Aug. 27 -- Engineering students continued their blockade at Shahbagh on Wednesday demanding apology from home affairs adviser for what they said "brutal and disgraceful" assault on them.

The students of Buet and other engineering universities started blockade at 10 am.

Clashes broke out between the students and police when the protesters marched toward Jamuna, the chief adviser's residence, leaving several injured.

They rejected the committee previously formed through a government notification as unfit to represent them.
