Dhaka, May 8 -- The Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the government has introduced a modern attendance management system called 'Truepresence' to ensure accurate and transparent tracking of attendance for its officers and employees.

A Saudi-based company, SDM, developed the software in association with a group of Bangladeshi engineers.

Energy Adviser Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan inaugurated the software at a function held at Bidyut Bhaban in the city on Thursday.
