Bangladesh, June 7 -- ul-Azha, one of the biggest religious festivals of Muslims, is being celebrated across Bangladesh Saturday with due religious solemnity, prayers, and sacrifice.

Thousands of Muslims gathered at mosques and Eidgahs throughout the country to offer Eid prayers. Major congregations saw overwhelming turnouts, reflecting the spirit of unity and devotion that marks the occasion.

In Bagerhat, the main Eid-ul-Azha congregation was held at the historic 'Shat Gambuj' Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at 7am.

The first prayer session was followed by a second at 8am, and a third and final congregation thereafter.
