Dhaka, June 8 -- Though Dhaka, the overcrowded capital city of Bangladesh, has been enjoying vacation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and witnessing low pressure of vehicles on the streets, it has ranked fifth on the list of cities with the worst air quality with an AQI score of 139 at 10:20am this morning (June 8, 2025).
Today's air was classified as 'unhealthy,' referring to a health concern, according to the AQI index.
