, Sept. 2 -- The government on Tuesday granted policy-level approvals for several important initiatives spanning citizen services, healthcare, and heritage infrastructure, according to decisions taken by the Economic Affairs Committee.

The approval came from the Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs meeting held today. Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed virtually presided over the meeting.

In a move aimed at improving service delivery at district and departmental levels, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has received approval to implement citizen service activities through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM).
