Dhaka, Nov. 19 -- Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin on Wednesday said the Election Commission remains committed to playing an impartial role to deliver a fair, neutral and credible election.
"We stay committed to our promise. We're committed to carry out our responsibility neutrality. So, we need your cooperation to perform neutrality and nicely," he said while addressing a pre-election dialogue at Nirbachan Bhaban in the city.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP and five other political parties joined the discussion which began at 2:00am with the CEC in the chair.
A three-member BNP delegation, led by its Standing Committee Member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, participated in the pre-election dialogue.
