Dhaka University, Nov. 22 -- Dhaka University (DU) authorities have suspended all examinations and classes scheduled for Sunday, citing concerns for the safety and mental well-being of students, teachers, and staff in the wake of recent earthquakes.

Further decisions will be announced after assessing the situation, the university's examination control office said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) general secretary SM Farhad urged the administration to temporarily close the university.
