Dhaka University, Feb. 23 -- A group of students from Dhaka University organized a protest rally against 'the rising crimes such as theft, assault, extortion, and rape, and the overall deterioration of the law and order situation across the country.

The protest rally was held at the Raju Sculpture of Dhaka University under the banner of 'Conscious Students of Dhaka University.'

During the rally, speakers mentioned that during the previous government's tenure, no justice was served regarding crimes such as rape. As a result, the criminals have gained confidence. They appealed to the government to take action to restore order and suppress the criminals with an iron fist.
