Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- The Dhaka University (DU) unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal organized a goodwill and welcome rally in anticipation of the homecoming of Tarique Rahman, Acting Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

The rally began at 4pm on Tuesday from the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University.

It later marched chanting slogans through the VC Chattar and Hallpara, parading along several important campus roads, and concluded with a brief gathering in front of Rokeya Hall.

Leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal from various halls and units of Dhaka University participated in the welcome rally.
