Dhaka, May 29 -- The Dhaka University unit of Jamaat-e-Islami's female student wing, Chhatri Sangstha, on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan demanding solutions to various problems the female students face on the campus.

A delegation from the organisation led by its university unit president Sabikun Nahar Tamanna and secretary Mosammat Afsana Akter submitted the demands to the VC at his office.

The demands include ensuring the safety of female students, availability of hygienic and nutritious food, construction of adequate common rooms, prayer rooms and ablution facilities, providing support during maternity, resolving the accommodation crisis, allowing non-residential students to enter ha...
