Hainan (China), March 27 -- After attending a series of meetings at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 here, Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus is now on his way to Beijing to hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, scheduled for Friday.

The Chief Adviser left Qionghai Bo'ao International Airport for Beijing at 7pm (China time), Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told UNB.

On the first day of his four-day China visit, the Bangladesh Chief Adviser spoke at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference and joined at least eight events, including bilateral meetings, Azad said.

Boao is a coastal town in the city of Qionghai, Hainan.
