, Sept. 9 -- The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,550 cases for traffic law violation during drives conducted in different parts of the capital on Monday.

Besides, a total of 439 vehicles were impounded and 111 others were towed during the drives.

The operation was carried out as part of DMP's ongoing efforts to ensure traffic discipline and improve road safety in Dhaka city.

It also announced that such operations will continue to ensure traffic discipline across the Dhaka metropolitan area.
