, Sept. 14 -- The South Asia Trade Fair with the participation of SAARC member countries will kick off in Dhaka on Thursday for a four-day run.

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin will inaugurate the event at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the morning.

The exhibition will feature a diverse range of products, including ready-made garments and textiles, gems and jewellery, cosmetics, leather goods, home appliances, kitchenware, processed food items and electronics.

The fair is being jointly organised by the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
