Dhaka, Aug. 26 -- Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate regular flights on the Dhaka-Medina route from October 28 next.

The move was taken by the national flag carrier as part of its route expansion process, said a press release on Monday.

Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with a total of 271 seats (24 business class ones and 247 economy class ones) will fly on the Dhaka-Medina-Dhaka route.

The flights will be operated on four days (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday) a week.

The ticket prices will be announced shortly, the release added.
