Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Bangladesh's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury has called for a reformed international financial system and enhanced technology support to address critical social development needs.
Speaking at the sixty-third session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD63) at the UN Headquarters in New York on Tuesday , the permanent representative emphasised the importance of international cooperation in bridging existing gaps for sustainable and inclusive development.
Ambassador Chowdhury also highlighted Bangladesh's key national initiatives under the current interim government led by Dr Muhammad Yunus, prioritising inclusive policies to advance social development.
