Dhaka, Aug. 14 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain at many places in seven divisions, including Dhaka, in next 24 hours commencing 9am on Thursday.

"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," according met office updates.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
