Bangkok (Thailand), April 3 -- Deputy Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka Arun Hemachandra on Thursday met Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on the sidelines of the 20th BIMSTEC ministerial meeting, with both sides underscoring the importance of deepening economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
They reaffirmed their commitment to advancing bilateral ties, and fostering regional economic cooperation for mutual prosperity.
During the meeting, bilateral issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Earlier, BIMSTEC Secretary General Indra Mani Pandey called on Adviser Hossain.
