Dhaka, Nov. 2 -- Analysing recent data, Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Administrator Mohammad Azaz on Saturday said that the number of dengue cases and deaths both declined compared to last year.
"However, even one death from dengue is unacceptable, " he said.
The DNCC Administrator came up with the remarks while briefing reporters on the current dengue situation and control measures at DNCC headquarters in the city's Gulshan on Sunday.
During the briefing, he also said that despite limited manpower, the DNCC is striving to provide the best possible service.
Azaz said that collective awareness and coordinated efforts among the public and service institutions can make dengue control possible.
