Dhaka, June 26 -- Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the passing of M. Nurul Amin, father of former DCAB President Nurul Islam Hasib.

Amin passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 85 due to complications related to old age, according to his son Hasib.

In a condolence message, DCAB President AKM Moinuddin and General Secretary Md Arifuzzaman Mamun extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
