Chattogram, Feb. 23 -- A day-long pet fair was held in a festive manner at the ground of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) here on Saturday.

CVASU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Gautam Buddha Das inaugurated the fair at 10 am which later concluded at 8 pm.

Hundreds of animal lovers thronged the fair throughout the day.

Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chittagong Bird Breeders' Association (CBBA), Animal Care of Chattogram, Chittagong High Flyer Zone, Association of Avian Veterinarians in Bangladesh and Birds and Pets Clinics jointly organised the fair for the fourth time in the district.
