Bangladesh, Dec. 8 -- A housewife was killed as she fell off the rooftop of a three-storey building in Cumilla Adarsha Sadar upazila on Saturday night.

The victim is Beauty Akhter, 35, wife of Shahin Alam of Dhanuakhola village in the upazila.

Shahin said Beauty fell into the boundary wall of the building from the rooftop while bringing in firewood.

She was taken to hospital where doctors declared her dead, he said.

Sub-inspector Mahbub Alam of Nazirabazar police outpost said they went to the spot on information.
