Netrokona, March 11 -- A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Member of Parliament (MP) for Netrokona-3 (Kendua-Atpara) constituency Iftikhar Uddin Talukdar Pinto, his wife Ismat Ara Minu, two daughters Sumaiya Mourami Ifti and Saiba Mourami Ishma, and son Ibnam Iftikhar, in connection with a corruption investigation.

On Monday, Senior Special Judge of Dhaka, Mohammad Zakir Hossain Galib, passed the order in response to a petition filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC's Public Relations Officer Aktarul Islam said, "The ACC requested the court to impose a travel ban on Iftikhar Uddin Talukdar Pinto, his wife, two daughters, and son. The court has granted the petition."
