, May 11 -- The government has formed a high-level committee led by Education Adviser Prof C R Abrar to investigate the departure of former President Abdul Hamid to Thailand.
The committee members are Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan and Labour and Employment Adviser Brig Gen (Retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hossain, according to the Chief Adviser's press wing.
The committee has been asked to submit a report within 15 days.
It may also co-opt additional members if required.

The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs will provide secretarial support to the committee.
