Rajshahi, March 4 -- year-old college student was killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and an engine-run van in Mohonpur upazila of Rajshahi on Tuesday.

The deceased, Abul Bashar, son of Babul Hossain from Bahadurpur village, was a first-year student at a local college.

Two expats die in Chandpur road accident

Sub-Inspector (SI) Nowshad Ali of Mohonpur Police Station said the accident occurred at Chok Belna Mor when Bashar's motorcycle collided with a vutvuti (engine-run van) while he was on his way to a computer class. He died on the spot, the SI said.

Police recovered the body, but the van driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.

As the victim's family did not file a complaint, police handed over the body...
