Dhaka, Dec. 26 -- A mild cold wave is sweeping across the southwestern district of Chuadanga, disrupting normal life.
According to the local met office, the district recorded this season's lowest 9.6 degrees Celsius of temperature at 9am on Friday. Vehicles were seen moving with headlights to prevent any unwanted accident.
People, particularly, low income group, children and senior citizens, are the worst sufferers due to the intense cold. Before dawn, thick fog enveloped the district halting daily life.
