Dhaka, July 31 -- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bangladesh is positioning itself as a modern, technology-driven agency committed to conducting transparent and impartial investigations in line with international standards, said CID Chief Md. Sibgat Ullah.
He said at the closing session of a two-day international workshop on the "Minnesota Protocol on the Investigation of Potentially Unlawful Deaths," jointly organised by the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator (UNRC) and CID.
The workshop, held on 30-31 July at CID Headquarters in Dhaka, brought together national and international experts to discuss best practices in forensic investigations and human rights-based policing.
