Dhaka, April 27 -- Leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the BNP's student front, have taken a significant step towards creating a cleaner and healthier campus at Dhaka University.

They installed dustbins and placed awareness placards at Hakim Chattar and Milon Chattar to promote cleanliness on campus on Saturday.

The initiative was led by Md. Tariqul Islam Tariq, Joint General Secretary of Chhatra Dal Central Sangsad and former General Secretary of Sir Salimullah Muslim Hall Chhatra Dal.

Tariq said that the clean campus initiative was driven by a sense of responsibility towards Dhaka University.
