Dhaka, April 30 -- Bangladesh stepped ahead in the Chattogram Test on the third morning, adding 113 runs for the loss of just one wicket in 27 overs before lunch.
The hosts ended the session at 404 for 8 in 114 overs, leading by 177 runs.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz continued to guide the innings with an unbeaten 76 off 109 balls, hitting 10 boundaries, while debutant Tanzim Hasan supported him with a solid 29* off 57 balls.
The pair shared an unbroken 62-run stand for the ninth wicket, their effort helping Bangladesh cross the 400-run mark, once uncertain after a late-day collapse on Day 2.
