Khagrachari, Jan. 28 -- The army on Monday arrested two armed militants with a large cache of weapons and drugs during a special operation in Dharmapur area of Fatikchhari upazila in Chattogram.

Acting on secret information, troops from the Fatikchhari Army Camp under Laxichhari zone conducted the operation in the late night of Monday to early morning of Tuesday.

The arrested were identified as Md. Rafiqul (55) and Md. Moin Uddin (36), son of Abdul Malek of Dharmapur village in Fatikchhari.
