, May 4 -- Chief Adviser's Press Wing on Sunday condemned a recent report aired by Indian television channel Aaj Tak Bangla for spreading misinformation about a photo from Bangladesh Police Week celebrations falsely labeling it as a 'secret image.'

The report, which aired recently, raised questions about a widely circulated photo showing Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus shaking hands with police officers and claimed that the uniform worn by police officers resembled that of a Pakistani generals.

The Press Wing said the photo was taken on April 29 at the Police Lines where 62 members of Bangladesh Police were awarded medals in recognition of their outstanding service.
