Dhaka, March 1 -- Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus on Saturday greeted the people of the country and all Muslims across the world on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.

"On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of the country and the Muslim Ummah," he said in a message as the holy month of Ramadan set to begin on Sunday.

Stating that the soul is purified through self-restraint during this holy month of fasting and restraint, the Chief Adviser said, "It is a wonderful opportunity to earn the blessings, closeness, and forgiveness of Almighty Allah."
