, Feb. 10 -- Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Monday called for "reconciliation" after the July mass uprising that brought an end to the "brutal regime" of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasaina with killing and enforced disappearances being the hallmarks of her 15 year-long dictatorship.
"Our country's future depends on our ability to overcome conflict. We must find a way forward together," he said.
Prof Yunus made his remarks while meeting with some of the families of the victims who were killed and injured during the July mass uprising.

He also announced that the interim government would begin providing financial assistance to these families.
