Lalmonirhat, Oct. 21 -- Trade activities at Lalmonirhat's Burimari land port with India's Changrabandha port have been suspended for three days from Monday to Wednesday (Oct 20-22) on the occasion of the Hindu festival Kali Puja (Diwali).

Burimari C&F Agents Association General Secretary Niyaz Nahid said, "The suspension covers import-export operations only, while Customs House and other internal port activities will continue as normal."
