Dhaka, July 30 -- Indian Jasprit Bumrah will not play in the fifth and final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at The Oval against England, with the Indian team management deciding to rest the pacer as a precaution.
Bumrah has shown a dip in rhythm recently, and the BCCI medical team has advised against his playing. They also said precautionary measures should be taken for playing Bumrah.
He was expected to feature in only three of the five Tests, and with appearances in the first, third, and fourth matches, the Oval Test was always uncertain for the pacer.
